University District Needle Exchange
Although we've historically called it a "needle exchange," in actuality PHRA operates a needle distribution program. We give as many as 200 syringes per day to every participant who comes in, regardless of whether or not you have dirty syringes. Our University District program is open four days a week (see schedule below), and we never close for holidays or for snow.

Hepatitis C Testing
We offer free and confidential Hepatitis C testing every day we're open. This service is provided in association with Hepatitis Education Project.
There is now effective treatment for Hepatitis C! If you are a user or have been in the past, it's very important that you get tested and understand your risks and treatment options. Unlike HIV, which is typically spread within the injecting community through shared needles, Hepatitis C is much more easily transmitted and can also be spread through shared cookers, water, cottons, or any other works.
Always use new works every time! Get tested and take control of your life!
Vein Care
We offer free and confidential vein care every Thursday 5-7, Friday 1-5, and Sunday 1-5.

Mobile Syringe Exchange
Live far away? We offer free delivery service to anywhere in King County.
Deliveries are available every Monday. Contact Shilo at 206-330-5777 or udnep@yahoo.com to schedule a delivery. Please give us at least 24hr notice because slots fill up fast. For secondary exchangers or micro-programs, we are happy to arrange for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly deliveries.
